I’m Sean Cook, the creator of PondTools.
My background is in geography at San Diego State University, where I spent years detecting glacial lakes in the Himalaya. After that, I went on to a career in tech, specializing in data science, before boomeranging back to water. PondTools sits right at the intersection of my background and my love of ponds!
My own backyard pond is documented in the build journal, from excavation through planting. PondTools grew around that project, and it really helped me create the perfect design, maximizing my space while making sure I was building a healthy habitat for my fish.
